The annual Brooklands Bike Day took place on Sunday 3 July. The Southern Section attended this varied and fascinating event with a stand that combined a social centre with a promotional table offering membership details and sample copies of The Journal.
Not only did the event attract members from the Southern Section, but we also played host to members from London and Midland Sections too, together with a number of prospective members and even a few lapsed members expressing an interest in re-joining.
Enjoying the glorious sunshine, other clubs were well represented and included, the Triumph Owners, Ducati Owners, and a substantial display by the VMCC Brooklands Section. The arena area, although not as busy as in previous years, still had an interesting selection of demonstration rides and warm-ups for the Hillclimb event.
